
Philip Clement was appointed Interim President & CEO and joined the Board in June 2009. Mr. Clement is currently Managing Partner of The Clement Group, a management consulting firm based in Chicago, specializing in general corporate strategy, market positioning, merger and acquisition strategy, sales team management and order to cash process improvement. He has formerly held senior management positions with The Rank Group plc, of London for 15 years, and Bell & Howell Company in Chicago. He has an MBA from the University of Chicago's Graduate School of Business.
Craig Johnson was appointed Acting CFO in June, 2009. He has been the Finance Director of Armor Designs Inc since January, 2009. Prior to that he was a partner with B2B CFO a contract financial management services company and Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of the Phoenix-based Global Entertainment Corporation, a sports management, real estate and facilities management company. Prior that he held a variety of senior financial management roles in both privately held and public companies. In addition, he is co-founder of Andante Properties, LLC, a real estate acquisition and management company. He is a certified public accountant and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
Prior to his appointment as Chief Operating Officer in November 2007, Dr. Sidhwa was a senior director of quality, processes and operations at ST Microelectronics. Dr. Sidhwa has extensive knowledge and experience in device fabrication, material science and manufacturing processing, and has contributed to multiple patents and publications. Prior to joining ST Microelectronics, Dr. Sidhwa was employed with Integrated Device Technology Inc. working in manufacturing processing and fabrication, materials characterization\ and the assembly of microelectronic devices.
Robert McConnell has served as Vice President of Armor Designs since 2006. Previously he served as Vice President and head of Hawthorne & York's Washington operations primarily focused on the development of the patented VCM technology through contracts with the Department of Defense. Over the course of his distinguished 28-year career, Mr. McConnell has served as Assistant Attorney General, Office of Legislative and Intergovernmental Affairs, United States Department of Justice; held the position of Vice President of CBS, Inc, in charge of their corporate office in Washington; and co-chaired Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP's Legislative Advocacy & Government Relations Practice Group. Mr. McConnell is a graduate of Arizona State University with BA and JD degrees.
