Strategic alliance with ipCapital Group, Inc.
Armor Designs Inc., (AIM: ADID, ADIS), the knowledge-based designer and manufacturer of composite armour products targeting numerous sectors, today announces that it has entered into a strategic alliance with ipCapital Group, Inc., ("ipCapital"), one of America's leading intellectual property ("IP") strategy consulting and licensing firms. By combining Armor Designs license to exploit Volumetrically Controlled Manufacturing ("VCM") methodologies with ipCapital's IP management expertise, the alliance is expected to accelerate the realisation of Armor Designs' market potential through a structured and coherent IP management plan.
Under the agreement, ipCapital Group will assist Armor Designs in the prioritisation of and parallel commencement of the immediate–term (i.e 0-2 years), mid-term (i.e. 2-5 years), and long-term (i.e. 5+ years) research and development efforts within Armor Designs' "Scorpion Works" team, to maximise Company and shareholder value. It will also develop a strategy that educates and reinforces the significant power of VCM methodologies in order that the full potential of the Company's intellectual property is understood and realised. The alliance will therefore support Armor Designs in developing, managing and implementing the Company's value management strategy and will assist in communicating this strategy to both potential investors and clients alike. .
