Upgraded to ISO 9001:2008 Certification of Registration Announcement
Armor Designs Inc., (AIM: ADID, ADIS), the knowledge-based designer and manufacturer of composite armour products, is pleased to announce that it has successfully completed ISO Certification of Registration audits on June 19, 2009, resulting in an upgrading of their ISO 9001:2000 status, previously announced on January 16, 2009, to new internationally recognized benchmark for quality management standard of ISO 9001:2008.
The Arizona-based company achieved the new upgraded ISO Certification of Registration status within six months of its initial certification. With the ISO 9001:2008 rating, Armor Designs' scope of certification has been expanded from Manufacture of Composite Armor to include Design and Development of Composite Armor.
Dr. Ardeshir Sidwa, COO of Armor Designs, commented "We believe the upgrade to ISO 9001:2008 and the expansion of the scope of the certification to include manufacture, design, and development of composite armour is significant for future national and international business opportunities and demonstrates the company's strong quality management commitment."
